The Shoreline Trolley Museum

The Shoreline Trolley Museum is home to 100 subway cars and trolleys, and they enjoy educating visitors on the historical context of mass transit. They invite local schools to arrange field trips that teach students the history of transportation. The museum has many special events throughout the year, including Super Hero's Saturday, the Haunted Isle, and the Pumpkin Patch. Gillette Castle in East Haddam

Bring your whole family to Gillette Castle in East Haddam for fun and a little education about William Gillette. William was an American architect, a playwright, and is most remembered for portraying Sherlock Holmes in the late 19th and 20th century. The Connecticut Yankee Chorus is the premier men's barbershop chorus in Connecticut. This barbershop chorus is made up of men of all ages who come from different walks of life. They are brought together by a love of four-part harmonies and their joy of singing and performing. Their performances include Americana, historical pop, and patriotic musical selections.
